Set a good example by not bullying others! When a child knows not to bully other children will follow their lead. To help even more, children should actively participate in anti-bullying projects and activities.
• Talk with your children, take steps to ensure children don’t bully others and encourage them not to support any bullying behavior of friends.
• Encourage children to look for opportunities to contribute to the anti-bullying community at their school through school organizations and social clubs ~ they can create anti-bullying posters, share stories, or show presentations promoting respect for everyone.
• Encourage older teens to work with younger children to prevent bullying.
