Jeff Reese, Gracie Jiu-jitsu black belt, has had the honor of learning from two generations of Gracie family members including Royce, Royler, Rodrigo, Rolker, Ralek, Rener, and Ryron! It has been 22 years since, in January 2000, at the age of 28, Jeff strolled into a local Gracie affiliate with a goal in mind of finding a fun hobby, effective fitness, and real world self defense. Having wrestled since a very early age and having witnessed Royce Gracie do his thing in the early days of UFC, Jeff enjoyed the idea of grappling to accomplish his goals. By the time Jeff had earned his third stripe on his blue belt he was already instructing lessons. When his local instructors walked away from jiu-jitsu for an extended leave Jeff took over teaching full time. Liked for his friendly demeanor, passion for instructing, and his ego-less training methodology. With students driving well over an hour to attend classes, students booking private lessons, and gym owners bring him in for seminars at their academy’s, Jeff is one of the most sought after instructors in Pennsylvania.
